When shopping for a new baby, you will surely see many, many pre-arranged gift baskets for purchase. But are they worth the money? In my opinion no. When purchasing a gift basket, you are not only paying an up charge for the items in the basket, you are paying for the two minutes it took to arrange the basket.

If you want to purchase an item similar to a pre-arranged gift basket, then look at the items offered in the gift basket, and create one your self. Just arrange items in some sort of order that is aesthetically pleasing manner and wrap in clear cellophane.

Any pre-arranged gift basket for baby can simply be recreated with less money, and small amount of time. Thus saving you quite a bit of money! Pre-arranged gift baskets should then be viewed as gift ideas, you can get more for your money if you have the little time required to put one together yourself.

There is a great variety of silver baby gifts available. There are some really unique silver baby gifts out there too. With a little more effort I have found some more unique items. There are silver piggy banks in a variety of shapes, a silver baby shoe birth record, Heart rattle/teething ring.

There are also a variety of silver baby gifts that are available that can be engraved. With a minimal amount of time shopping online, you can find the perfect silver baby for the new arrival in your life.

Giving the parents cash or a check with a note that you would prefer a savings bond, but didn't have the information needed can be included in the card as well.
